Short Fiction

Overview

I started writing short fiction in 1999. It was a renaissance year for me, when I started reading literature in my own time, when I left the band I was playing in and started to write on my own, and eventually when I started to try and write. Sometime this year I will write my 100th short story, though my pave has slowed somewhat since I've been working. About once a month, you can expect me to sit down at my desk and write for four or five good solid hours, often while I do something trivial in the backround, like wash clothes, and if I like what I've written, I may post it here. It's very rare for me to revise a story before posting it, so if you see a typo or a sentence that doesn't make sense, please feel free to let me know.

With each story, I give the date of the version posted, at the bottom. In most cases, that is the date the story was first written, but occasionally (Arizona), it is the date of a major revision.
